Yay for 6am starts! I started my day hiking out and hiding on this rock, right down a small side trail, with a beautiful view of Rainbow falls. It was the agreed upon secret spot for the surprise proposal.
During the proposal, light snow started to sprinkle down. Doesn't get much more magical than that! And to continue the celebration, we completed the 9 mile Mist Trail fall loop, with plenty of photo breaks. Despite the steep sections and altitude, this is easily one of the best hikes in Yosemite. 2 waterfalls and a broad view of the valley at the top.Â
For added context, this was their favorite hike in Yosemite! They have returned for several years to hike it again and again.
