With a 4am start time, my partner and I drove 2.5 hours to get to the Chola Cactus Garden by sunrise. Joshua Tree is one of my favorite national parks and seeing the garden glow at sunrise was a long-time bucket list item. Afterwards, we explored the awesome boulders and rock formations that J-Tree is famous for. In and out, early morning adventure to beat the heat and the crowds!
